“If you happen to visit university town Tsukuba (only 45 minutes by Tsukuba Express from Akihabara Station in Tokyo), then this small craft beer oasis is definitely forth a visit. Well curated 9 taps of Japanese craft beer (you can tell that it’s well curated, selection really represented some of the best beers out there), knowledgable staff, nice and tasty otsumami + more serious dishes (ate only ostumami). Prices are not the cheapest (1180-1400 for one US pint, 680-750 for a half-pint) but they have a tasting set option (1300 yen), so overall the value is not bad. Probably would not make sense to travel from Tokyo to Tsukuba just for this - but if you already are in the neighbourhood, then definitely worth a visit.“
