60 /100 KRASNOARMEYSKY PROSPEKT, 3A Visited in summer 2022. Three-storey brewpub/restaurant in central Tula. 12 of their own beers on tap, but I only had time to try two of them - the hefeweizen and the weizenbock. Beers were average to good. Brewing kit is in full view on the first floor. Worth a visit. |
60 /100 Samovar (Krasnoarmeysky) (Bar) SAMOVAR One of Samovar's several stores in Tula. This one is at the same addess as Bashnya brewpub and less than 500m away from the Salden's store on the same street, so it's worth a look-in. Samovar beers on tap and in the fridges, as well as beers from other Russian craft breweries. |
66 /100 KRASNOARMEYSKY PROSPEKT, 14 Sizable joint with a veranda (in summer) and a basement level. Five beers on tap (Premium Lager, Red Lager, Dark Lager, Weizen, and one seasonal. The seasonal when I was there was an entirely drinkable APA. The other beer that I sampled, the Red Lager, was not great. In addition, they have a rather decent selection of Russian craft bottles and cans (a lot of big names, Jaws, Zagovor, Bakunin, etc.) Tasty food and good service. The that this place has been open since 2013 and survived the pandemic says something. |
68 /100 PERVOMAYSKAYA, 13/15 Visited in June 2022. This is a spacious and beautiful place. Good food and something like 5 or 6 of their own beers on tap. I only tried one (Vienna Lager), it was respectable. |
62 /100 Salden’s (Krasnoarmeysky) (Beer Store) KRASNOARMEYSKIY PROSPEKT, 22 Small brewery shop with a couple of tables for drinking on site. Nothing but Salden’s beers available, but that’s ok because there is a wide variety of styles. |
64 /100 Salden's Porterhouse (Bar) SOVETSKAYA ULITSA 11/1 Fashionable place, but expensive by regional standards (Moscow prices for everything except beer). Saldens on tap and in cans/bottles. Food is good. Almost full when I visited on a Saturday night. |
58 /100 Salden's Porterhouse (Bar) SOVETSKAYA ULITSA 11/1 Onl Saldens on tap, nice beers but food was not so good. Old meat and cold burgers. Maybe seafood will be good but it some kind of expensive here. |
70 /100 Salden’s Taphouse (Bar) SOVYETSKAYA ULITSA, 68 Nice cellar with Sladens beers. Burgers was good. |
82 /100 PERVOMAYSKAYA, 13/15 Situated in a beautiful park in a historical building. This place is more about the food than about the beers. House potions are fantastic. So is the cuisine. |
74 /100 ZHAVORONKOVA, 1A Local beers in bottles and on tap. Some of them worth trying. Dark malty varieties seem better. Spacious restaurant with classic interior. The food leaves much to be desired. |
48 /100 KRASNOARMEYSKY PROSPEKT, 14 4 beers, not bad, but nothing to write home about either. Can be worth of your curiosity visit. |
66 /100 ZHAVORONKOVA, 1A Great place with 6 very nice brews. Along with Petr Petrovich nearby - best choice in this city. |
66 /100 Salden’s (Krasnoarmeysky) (Beer Store) KRASNOARMEYSKIY PROSPEKT, 22 One of 2 brewery shops for Salden’s brewery. Up to 20 brews on draft in PET bottles. Most of the beers are real good, however some miss the spot completely. If you are up to Russian Craft - a must for you visit. |
66 /100 PERVOMAYSKAYA, 13/15 One of the top restaurants in the city. They also brew 4 very nice brews on site. Best choice if you are in this city. |
