74 /100 Archway Tavern (Bar) 1 NAVIGATOR SQUARE Visited Sat 31/07. Arrived just after noon opening and there were three people there already. The pub is on the pedestrianised on two sides Navigation Square so it has a decent amount of outdoor seating. Inside it is still looking freshly painted in a smart modern style - after all it only re-opened under new management recently. I think they were doing table service but the two bar staff on duty - barman and a waitress - didn't complain when I browsed the beers. Beer Guide London had alerted me to the fact that this place specialised in smaller London breweries so I was not disappointed and was able to tick off my first beers from Muswell Hillbillys and Goodness. They also had a number of Hammerton beers on, although some of the 16 taps were reserved for pre-mixed cocktails and wines. There were also various bottles and cans from the before mentioned breweries in the fridges. By the time I left there were only 2 other people but I hope this places does well because they combine a more modern pub with a good array of London craft. It's also handy being a 3 minute walk from Archway tube.
