58 /100 Horse & Groom (Bar) HORSE & GROOM Honey coloured, Cotswold stone 16th century inn within a quiet hillside village near Stow on the Wold. There are 4 Real Ales on tap, 2 of which were Wye Valley beer and 2 from Gloucs breweries. I visited as part of a long cycle ride and sat out in the garden, so I didn’t get the full picture inside, but there does appear to be a locals bar and a separate dining area. The garden is particularly pretty and quiet on my visit. Better than the touristy Stow on the Wold for peace of mind. |
