86 /100 O’Frank Irish Pub (Bar) AV. DES. DEMERVAL LYRIO, 121 Slightly off the beaten track Irish pub that only real claim to being Irish is that there are a couple of tricolours hanging about. What this pub really is about is stocking some really interesting Brazilian micro breweries and American IPAs. Probably the most off beat selection I’ve seen in Brazil. On my second visit (just a couple of days later) the owner had got some different bottles in - great stuff.
Very friendly staff and even tried to fix the WIFI. Does food (not tried) and live music. The price of some of the US beers is expensive, but that is a Brazil issue as a whole. If you are in Vitoria then you have to come here. |
64 /100 Vix Pub (Restaurant) RUA JOAQUIM LIRIO 189 Restaurant on the same road as larger Mr. Beer. It has a nicely stocked fridge of Backer and 3 Lobos. Menu isn’t a rip-off and has a decent selection also.
Staff were friendly and helpful, but didn’t seem to know too much about what they were selling. A good place to eat and not be forced to drink Brahma! |
78 /100 Mr Beer (Bar) RUA JOAQUIM LÍRIO , 610 Round the corner from Wunderbar this is the bigger brother of Mr Beer shopping. A long line of bottles greet you and two fridges. Helpful and friendly staff guide you around the beer and try to recommend something new to you.
A selection of UK and Belgium beers are available in the standard Mr. Beer range.
Snacks are available although restaurants are nearby. Worth a visit. |
68 /100 Mr Beer Shopping Vitoria (Beer Store) AVENIDA AMÉRICO BUAIZ , 200 Beer store in one of the shopping malls in Vitoria. It has its own seated area so you can enjoy what it has in the fridge there and then. Friendly helpful staff tell you about the beers if you haven’t seen one before.
A good range of Brazilian beers along with some more regular UK and Belgium examples.
Also sells gift packs.
Fast food can be bought in the food court on the second floor. |
64 /100 Wunderbar Kaffee (Bar) RUA JOAQUIM LIRIO, 820 Open air style bar near to one of the bridges (the bar has moved from it’s old location). Straight forward and non-adventurous beer selection although it does feature some Amazon beers.
Worth a stop over if you are in the area. |
