Originally posted by imdownthepub Surrey is a suprisingly difficult one ... you'd think for a home county it would be an easy one but there just isn't a lot of brewing action there ! I used to make an effort when I lived there (until Jan '15) and am still top dog, 14 ahead of Jan, on 149. Only 3 folks have 100 for Surrey ! |
My bottom 3 are pretty obivous ones ... |
Took me longer than I expected to break into the Surrey Top 10. Only needed 5 or so beers but pubs around here just weren't stocking anything from Surrey or only had Hog's Back beers I'd already ticked. 5 to go for 100. I have £30 of Hog's Back vouchers but would rather buy other beer from their shop. |
Only 6 over 100 so far, but Cornwall is close on 94 and should hit that soon with all the St Austell over here. |
20 over 100 |
2 over 100 |
18 over 100, managed to nudge Berkshire up to 400 this weekend. Lincolnshire next to go with 98 at the moment. Isle of Wight and Rutland at the bottom of the list. |
This shows how odd regional markets are. At least if you don't buy bottles and cans. It seems harder to find southern county ale on Nottingham than US craft. I am a locale drinker |
Originally posted by theprof I rarely had beer at home before I joined the Internet Beer Sites (BA then here). Wine and Spirits, yes, but beer was for drinking in pubs and socializing. I now drink less beer in pubs than I do within my own four walls. I still like to think I am still a locale drinker though, just less frequently. <*))))))>< |
