Hey sorry, I just checked this thread. Yes, Joel is right. Date is March 3rd. Probably 7pm, but people are always welcome to come earlier. Maybe open some locally available Gueuzes just as a primer.

With so much intersest Bill and I hav been thinking about alternatives to a blind tasting. #1 - no blind tasting #2 - blind tasting with really really small pours #3 - A small blind tasting to start with guezes that we can get 1.5 liters of (St. Louis Fond Tradition and Rene Cuvee, which we should be able to find easily and maybe at least 2 more beers that we can make sure we have the same batch [the regular Cantillon seems like a good candidate, I bet Bill and John have the same batch and maybe the Tilquin]). Then we could just have everyone chip in for the cost of blind tasting and reimburse the people who purchased the blind tasting beers. That would give us a nice gueze blind tasting with enough to go around. Then we could drink all the other beer and everyone wins. #4 - some other idea What do people favor?

My votes with #3 I think the blind tasting will only work if we have enough to go around and I’m pretty sure we’ll only have 1 bottle with most stuff that’s being brought. We could do the blind tasting at like 6 then the actually tasting at 7.

Also if anyone needs my address shoot me a pm.

anyone else interested in the blind tasting?

Blind tasting would be fun.

I like the idea of a blind tasting (I’ve never done one) but I don’t think we should do it with all the beer. I guess option 3 would be best IMO.
