Thanks for the recommendations. |
Most breweries are in outer boroughs if any in particular catch your fancy I can probably offer advice I’ve been to most of them some aren’t easy to get to though. |
Originally posted by DSG Many of them do flights or various sized pours for the Manhattan ones off the top of my head - Haymaker and Rattle n Hum West have small pour option on all their drafts Ginger Man and Rattle n Hum East both do flights, but not when it’s super busy As Is and Beer Culture - I can’t remember, but I don’t think they do flights Pony Bar is closing on 2/5 |
LIC is also a solid outside Manhattan option that is easy to get to by subway from Manhattan. |
If you go to George Keeleys in the UWS, be sure to check out Joe’s right across the street and The Beer Shoppe a block or two away. |
Driving around Hudson Valley with a friend today, catching a train to the city tomorrow morning. |
Im partial to Other Half in Brooklyn but its not open on Mondays. i usually have better luck finding interesting brews in bars. |
As Is (50th and 10th Avenue) does 4oz samples and probably has one of the best selections as of the past year (including cans of Other Half & Grimm for ’on-site’ consumption). |
I’d put LIC Beer Project and Threes as 2nd and 3rd on the list of breweries behind Other Half. |
