What are the best places in/near Sandusky Ohio to purchase beer or drink it?

Beer bars, beer stores, etc?

I personally have not had much luck in that vicinity. Perhaps you could find something on the trip there/back? From which direction are you heading there. Going to Cedar Point?

Took my kids to Great Wolf Lodge Thurs-today, and I’d looked at the Places link on here to see if there were any good stores to buy something to take back to Michigan, especially since AleSmith is distributed to Ohio. Alas, there’s nothing in Sandusky!

Sandusky is a craft beer wasteland. You’d be better off making regular runs to either Ann Arbor or Cleveland. Depending where you start from you aren’t much more than an hour from places like Fatheads and Rozi’s.

And lizardville in Rocky River...

You’re about an hour from me depending on where in Sandusky.. I work with a few people who live there.. They make the 45 min commute daily all state route 10 and you’ll find civilization.

I live on the west side of Cleveland and make the trip to Sandusky regularly for work. Its only about 45-60 minutes depending on where I go to.

So you will be about 45-60 minutes from beer places in Cleveland. I agree with the above and I’d be making regular trips to Rozi’s or even Brew Kettle.
