SLC on a Saturday

I know Utah has some funky laws. Are there limitation to beer fun if I am in SLC on a Sunday?

Craig, can you confirm some things:

1) No samplers at brewers? Or drafts, period?
2) Bottles only at breweries?

How likely am I to find beers from Epic that aren’t bottled and available out of state?

1} you can get samples, but only 2 at a time. Only 4% beer on tap.

2). Most sell bottles at the breweries for on site or to go.

I think most Epic beers are distributed out of state. They have a new line (Utah session series) that is available in grocery stores. You can get sample pours of any Epic beers at The Annex.

Epic doesn’t do many one offs in the Utah market, because they have to bottle everything that they sell if it is over 4%. Proper Brewing expanded a few months ago and has a location around the corner from Epic, they are doing both 4% draft and higher abv in bombers. Are there any beers you are looking to try while you are in town?
