HippieFee (506) - Portland, Oregon, USA - NOV 25, 2017Draft - Only a hint of bitterness. More coffee and roasted flavors than sweet chocolate. Could be a little smoother for how it is on the palate.
Capa (4059) - JAPAN - APR 15, 2017Medium muddy brown. Lightly roasted, some cocoa notes, a decent bitter profile sort of overshadows the porter aspects. Decent brew.
djd07 (28701) - Houston, Texas, USA - NOV 26, 2016On tap at the brewery. Pours a dark ruby brown with small beige head. The aroma is cocoa and cracker malt. Medium body, chocolate, licorice, light roast, decent.
andrewje41 (7614) - Monroe, Washington, USA - FEB 15, 2016Draft pour pint at stop #1 of my on foot Seattle tour. Research for an upcoming video documented experience. I am thankful for the wealth of beer places and breweries that are open at 11 on a Monday/Holiday. Listed at 5.4. Cola black pour with a cream foam head and lace. Sugar sweet, light roast aroma. Flavor is rich chocolate, soft roast, and a bit watery. Has a decent hop presence as well. If I didn’t know better I could mix this up with a CDA, but the styles seem to overlap in certain cases anyway. Overall a tasty beer, but a little watery and I’m missing the bold porter factor that I love. Still a good beer though.

luttonm (7592) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 11, 2015Draft at brewpub. Hazy cola brown, small foam. Soft chocolately roast malt. Nice creamy, tasty body. Lots of flavor all around, a little sweet in the finish. Not the most defined or sharpest beer around, but tasty porter.
mcberko (42095) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 7, 2015On tap at Big Time, pours a dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma brings out notes of charcoal in typical coal porter fashion. Flavour is well-balanced, with dry cocoa powder and light roast. Decent porter, just nothing special.
Ferris (23108) - Burnaby, British Columbia, CANADA - FEB 6, 2015Draft - Roast malts and butterscotch. Deep brown with a decent light brown head. Dark roast, toffee and a burnt bitter chocolate finish. Complex and pretty nice.
