UPDATED: APR 10, 2024 Aroma and taste of foam banana, maltiness, yeast, hay, flowers, coriander, alcohol and orange. Light bitterness that fills the upper part of the mouth for a long time. UPDATED: MAR 30, 2024 Can. Dark yellow hazy pour with a big head. Yeasty aroma. Smooth malt taste with a slight heaviness and a little sweetness at the finish. There is some banana and yeast in the flavour but mostly it is very smooth. The high alcohol content is well hidden. The Westmalle Export and Dubbel are good but not exceptional and I was a bit underwhelmed by them but this is an excellent beer.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2024 AP: Murky orange, persistent fluffy white head. AR: Sweet, fruity (lemon, orange) and spicy (coriander, clove). FL: Sweet, zesty orange and lemon pulp, yeast, dry and light alcoholic finish. MF: Medium-to-light body, good, yet soft CO2 and smooth feel.

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2024 Loved it . I have always loved the darker Dubbels but feared the Tripels a bit - probably due to some reviewers over selling the strength etc . This was a beauty . Easily drunk and beautiful mouth . Superb .

UPDATED: MAR 11, 2024 Light sweet aroma of cereals, white bread, lemonade, white pepper & spices. Clear golden with a large very long lasting white head. Intense taste of medium sourness, light sweetness & a very long finish. Medium body, slick texture & average carbonation.

UPDATED: FEB 25, 2024 The aroma is Belgium yeast and some spices. Pours a clear light copper yellow with white head, somewhat diminishing and excellent lacing. The taste is a slight bitter. Very smooth. The body is medium light, the texture soft and dry. Very nice, haven't had a Tripel in a long time, having one of the best makes me yearn for more.

UPDATED: FEB 10, 2024 330ml bottle pours out golden topped with a small fizzy head. Nose is nice sweet belg notes and some yeast spice. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts spice and zest.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2024 € 1.49 for 330 ml bottle from Carrefour , Mons (10/10/18) : Light straw colour , frothy head ... slight herbs aroma , asparagus ... frothy mouthfeel , powerfully strong well made beer , bitter , balanced ... finishes hoppy & mouth puckery .
