Color is almost glow in the dark ruby red with a foamy pink head. smell is raspberry syrup of course with a sweet and sour taste. not sure how i should like this one since im not used to the style. Was good for a try but not going to make lambic a habit. They should serve these at clubs for girls to drink however. rags2rags (29), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Bottle into flute. Pours a deep ruby with a foamy pink head. It really is a beautiful beer; unfortunately, appearance isn’t everything. The nose is (of course) raspberry, pomegranate, and unsettling amount of sugar, and mustiness. The taste is of overpoweringly sweet raspberry which is much sweeter than the actual fruit with a sourness courtesy of the raspberries’ acidity. I make myself finish every beer, but the sweetness made this a struggle; it was a great deal sweeter than most sodas I’ve had. It looks pretty, but if you’re not a fan of sweets like me, reconsider your decision. ownch411 (17), USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Dec 30, 2009 Bottle. Pours almost an Amber color but with a smooth pink head. Flavor and aroma of Raspberries throughout with some slight strawberry and cherry on board. After flavor is somewhat dull but initial palate flavor makes up for it. Best for dessert and/or nightcap. Not bad. joeymacaroni (241), Wagontown, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Dec 28, 2009 pours ruby red with a fluffy pink head. nose is strong raspberry with a little straw in the background. flavor is tart, sweet raspberry. thick and sweet. tart, fruity finish. good for dessert. yemenmocha (428), Glendale, Arizona, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 27, 2009 Pours a beautiful reddish color with some haze. Even the head has a similar color. Very assertive raspberry dominates the nose, and well, it does the same on the palate. I love this level of sweetness, though I can see why it isn’t appreciated by all. Pleasant tartness is there as well, and perhaps this is the 2nd best of their lineup behind their kriek. tarheels86 (818), Washington DC, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 27, 2009 On tap at TSI, Jax, FL. Pours a muddy deep raspberry with no head. No lacing. Aroma is sour raspberry warheads and jolly rancher. Taste is the same. Some mouth puckering sour raspberries give way to melted jolly rancher making it obvious this has sugar added. Blasphemy. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 26, 2009 12 oz bottle poured into a Lindemans lambic glass. Pours a purple red color with a small pink head. It has the aroma of fresh raspberries. It has a sour and sweet taste of raspberries with a raspberry candy aftertaste. It has nice champagne like carbonation. This is a very nice after dinner or desert beer. I really enjoyed this but it’s too sweet to have more than one in a night. I think I’ll try to drink this beer again and also try more lambics in the future. This beer was well worth trying. armando629 (1018), Budapest, Hungary

Deep ruby body with a superb stable, lacing pinky head. Raspberries dominates the aroma, there is some other wild fruits, some spicies like cinnamon and vanilla. Full bodied with this low alcohol percentage, the raspberries leads the flavor too with their own tart and sweetness. Sweet fruity body and aftertaste.
