UPDATED: MAY 7, 2023 Can picked up from Beer Republic webshop, Berkel-Enschot, nr Breda, Netherlands and consumed at home Sunday 7th May 2023 after a cycle ride to/from 'Haix for Heroes Fest', Mainburg and nipping into the Biergarten at Au Brewery, Au in der Hallertau on the way home.We had a great Chicken Tagine with Preserved Lemons, listening to Wine Lips - Mushroom Death Sex Bummer Party, a great music recommendation from Jennifer at Higgins Ale Works, München. Pours black with a fast disappearing cappuccino coloured head, thick mouthfeel, a little bit heavy on the lactose. Big chocolate and black forest gateaux vibes here, cherry, chocolate, nutty but a little tang. It's too sweet and too heavy on the lactose, but it's not without it's merits and despite my slight criticism I am actually enjoying it.

UPDATED: MAR 19, 2023 16 ounce can from Tavour. Dark brown pour. Creamy tan cap. Malty, dark chocolate aroma hints at coconut and toasted pecans. Intensely sweet flavors of dark chocolate, vanilla, coconut and caramel. Rich and decadent, just like the cake. Well done.
