Belgian Red is a tapestry of flavor. This beer is brewed with whole Montmorency Cherries, Wisconsin farmed wheat and Belgian roasted barleys, lagered in oak tanks and balanced by Hallertau hops we aged in our brewery one full year. Over a pound of Door County Cherries in every bottle makes this beer uniquely “Wisconsin.” So unique, in fact, that we applied for a patent. Expect this beer to be ruby red, with a medium body that is highly carbonated and intense with cherry flavor and bouquet.

RBSG07. Pours red. Aroma is red with a light brown head. Aroma is cherry fruity. Flavour is sweet and sour fruity at once. Very nice finish of sweet- and bitterness. Candy!

An unclear red beer with a disappearing beige head. The aroma contains notes of marcipan and cherries. While the flavor contains notes powerful notes of fruit and cherries.

Bottled (thanks heemer77). Hazy reddish orange colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is lots of cherrykernels. Flavour is very nice of cherrykernels as well as some quite sour notes. Yet at the same time very wellbalanced and refreshing thing.

750mL bottle, pours a beautiful ruby red with a small beige head. Aroma of rich sweet and sour cherries, quite sweet and real (nothing artificial here), and some tartness. Flavour of rich cherries, more tart than Raspberry Tart but still not much in the way of sourness / tartness, more intense carbonation as well but not detracting in the flavour. Not complex, but the intense cherry flavours are wonderful. I prefer Raspberry Tart but this is excellent as well.

Bottle split at the Cotteridge Convention, thanks to LKS, 24/01/14. Reddish amber with a moderate off white/crimson covering. Nose is cherry skins, almond, tarte berry, cherry bakwell, vanilla. Taste comprises glaced cherries, sweet licks, lightly soured cherry, red berry compote, jammy berry licks. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweetish close. Decent fruit beer but just don’t get these New Glarus fruit bombs anywhere near the 4 mark like most folks seem to manage!
