While on subject when on Brewer page I wish my count would be at top on mobile so don’t have to scroll all the way down to see if I’ve tried any.

Searching by brewer is useful

It looks like the people have spoken. The ability to easily search by brewery will be removed. Thanks, everyone!

Salty. What I mean is that if you wrote "Adairius" or "Bell's" or even "sierra nevada" and searched, if the process simply looked up beers with those terms and grabbed the breweries from those beers, a separate search for brewers would be unnecessary.

Just jiggling your bean bag

So, if you searched for "Stone" it would just return beers from "Stone"? What about "Stone Liberty Station" or "Stone Berlin"?

I think given the variety or ways users utilize search terms to find what they want, creating a rule like that, which would, in effect, limit search returns, might be a bad idea.

I think a better alternative would be to make "advanced" searching features more prominent. So, for example, if I search "Stone" and it returns a lot of results, I can choose things like -- "Sort by most ratings" "search by brewery only" "Limit by country" etc.

I search by brewery all the time. Recent example - had a new beer that wasn't in the database, and I was unfamiliar with the brewery. I wouldn't have known what other beer names to search to get the brewery indirectly, and the brewers name was common enough that it would have yielded a bunch of beers by different breweries. With the brewer results, there were a few breweries at the top of the search result, and I could easily identify the right one by their location.
