Opaque brown beer with a slight beige head. Heavy aroma; taste starts medium/heavy sweet and ends slightly dry and sour. Wood, bourbon, vanilla, caramel, blackberries, tart and citrus. 9/5/10/5

The Bruery Placentia, California

(Draught at Man in the Moon, Stockholm, 20 Feb 2024) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted, vinous nose with sweet espresso, dark chocolate, muscovado sugar, raisins, port wine and black-currant. Malty, vinous taste with notes of sweet espresso, cacao, sweet liquorice, peat, tar, port wine, oak wood, black-currant, raisins and a balanced roasty bitterness in a vinous finish. Full body, sweet. Strong and powerful. Complex and rich. Not overly balanced, but so rich and tasty. Great beer!

Hoppin' Frog Brewery Akron, Ohio

Can at home, 24th May 24. Pours a black heavy beast. Aroma is intense, chocolate, barrel and liquor. Taste is incredibly balanced, liquor, roasted malts, nicely hopped, bitter, vanilla, roast and cocoa. Love it

The Kernel Brewery Bermondsey, Greater London

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the brewery taproom. Pours clear, deep reddish brown with a tight, creamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour with rich and layered dark mats, ashy roast, orange peel, torched pine, cocoa. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Gorgeous finish, superb balance, more fetching dark malts, ash, pine, roast. Love it.

Opaque golden beer with a slight/medium off-white head. Medium/heavy sweet aroma; taste starts medium/heavy sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Orange, tropical fruit, mango, melon, snakefruit, hops and citrus. 8/5/9/5

24.05.2024. On tap at Vinyl. Bergen. Dark Brown colour with a small tan head. Sweet malts. So very strong, sharp and good!! OMG!

Heist Brewery Charlotte, North Carolina

500-ml bottle from tavour. slow gusher thankfully caught, decent bubbly head, sweet roasty malty earthy boozy coconut chocolate nose, creamy thick, super boozy chocolate coconut vanilla, almonds in background when tasted for them, melded great. rating #1!

Opaque yellow/golden beer with a slight off-white head. Heavy aroma; taste starts medium sweet and ends slightly bitter and dry. Orange, tropical fruit, mango, melon, hops and citrus. 9/5/9/4

Het Boerenerf Eylenbosch Huizingen, Flemish Brabant

Bottle. Bottled 24-10-2023. Color: Slightly hazy golden, thin white head. Aroma: Subtle funky, hay, wood, light tartness. Taste: Light tartness and very light sweetness. Subtle rural funk, oak wood, citrus fruit, hints of Cognac. Nice complexity and very well balanced. Medium body, below average carbonation. Superb Geuze!

Can at home from J and B Craft Drinks, Amsterdam, 24th May 24. Pours a dark orange thick haze. Aroma is pith and citrus peel, dank, tropical and rich. Taste is dank, bitter, resinous, citrus pith and peel, candied fruits, long bitter linger. Delicious IPA

Brouwerij 3 Fonteinen Beersel, Flemish Brabant

750mL bottle pour at Hill Farmstead, 5/24/24. Bright marigold. Clear. Small, white head to ring. Holy shit that's round. Mellow, soft, malty, with beautifully integrated, exquisitely developed Brett and lacto. Band aid, rubber, hint of sulfur. Just a glorious amount of complex Brett. Funk, leather, cheese rind, bit of lime skin. Close to everything I want in a lambic, perhaps just missing a bit more poopy funk. Per usual, disagree with everything PhillyBeer says.

Tapp & Kork Molde, Møre og Romsdal

From Tapp & Kork in Molde on excursion with Nordmøre hjemmebryggerlaug 24.05.24. Cloudy straw colour. Some white head. Strong aroma and taste of papaya, lychee, tamarind, passion fruit and pale malt. Long aftertaste. Very good!
