I think it was the brewdog beers that were found to be lower than advertised. Not sure it really matters since I think the policy here is to just use the advertised numbers for ABV and IBU. Bobby, the Brewdog beers are pretty confirmed ABV wise. The problem was Brewmeister, another Scottish brewery, that made Armageddon and Snake Venom. The first one isn’t near the declared ABV and the other one is spiked with hard liquor. Trust me, BrewDog aren’t stupid enough to try to cheat in this kind of stuff. They care too much about their reputation. I must be remembering these things wrong (lots of beers consumed since 2012). I just remember Brewdog vs the place in Germany. Forgot about the other place that was in on the game.

But definitely no where near as bad as the brewmeister fiasco
