HammerHeart is putting its last keg of Rune Stone Stout on tap at the brewery today.

Total wine in Roseville has lambic on sale. I picked up 3 Hannsens strawberry bottles for $5.99 per. The sales rep said others were going to e marked down also.

Summit will release a New England style IPA in the taproom only this Friday at 4 pm. Considering how good these have been from Modist and Black Stack recently, i am going to try to make this.

EDIT. I wouldnt drive across town for the Summit. Its ok.

HammerHeart are throwing a celebration next Wednesday to mark Norway’s Constitution Day. Details copied below:

Come celebrate Constitution Day with HammerHeart!

We will open and 2pm and tap a special keg of 2016 Olaf the Stout. (taproom only, no growlers or 750s)

At 6pm, we will release two new bottles:
- Nordlys - Juniper Pale Ale aged in Gamle Ode Aquavit Barrels
- Dublin Raid Reserve - Mild Sour Red Ale made with Peat-Smoked Malt aged in Bourbon Barrels for 10 months

Limit of 2 bottles per style per person. Bottles will be $18 each, tax included.

Supply of Olaf the Stout and the bottles is limited.

A note on liquor store distribution:
- Dublin Raid Reserve will see limited liquor store distribution the week of May 17. Keep an eye on our Facebook page. We wll post locations once deliveries have been made.
- Nordlys will only be distributed to liquor stores for special tastings in conjunction with Gamle Ode Aquavit. There will be 4-6 of these In May/June. The first is at the Grand Opening of the new MGM Liquor in Hugo on May 12. We will post details of the other events as they are confirmed.

Gluek lager is making a return. In a long city pages article, the new distributor discusses the long history of the brand, but at no time is Gluek’s reputation as one of the worst breweries on the planet mentioned. Understandably so. It will be Denver brewed, and it is hard to imagine anyone buying it when Blatz and Premium are so delicious.

Republic is holding an event on June 17th called Funk Fest that’ll apparently feature 20 MN sours. No list provided yet, but given the host, I’d imagine there’ll be some nice stuff available.

Fair State’s holding their 2nd annual Mixed Culture event on July 15th.

Wild/Sour/mixed-fermentation beer is becoming one of the fastest growing segments of American craft beer. To celebrate this vibrant genre, we’re digging into the barrel cellar in a big way.

unreleased barrel-aged sours
limited reserves of previously-released small-batch bottles
award-winning favorites
The official beer list will be released later this spring.
Your entrance ticket includes a commemorative tasting glass and access to the party. Beers will be sold by the pour. Tickets are limited.
Note: this year’s event will take place at our new production brewery in the Midway - St. Paul neighborhood.
