A mostly clear chestnut brown coloured pour with a halo of beige, aroma is semi sweet rich fruit cake, raisin, some age. Flavour is composed of semi sweet. Nutty malts, fruit cake, mint, mellow booze, fruit loaf, white grape. Palate is semi sweet, rounded, mellow carbonation. Held up well.

Taste is malt, caramel, yeast, prunes, spices, hints of chocolate.

Getting hints of caramel, toffee, banana, chocolate. Finish is sweet but not sticky. Booze warms a little but mixes in well. This would be great in the winter sitting by a fire.

Sweet but not too sweet, pleasingly medium bitterness, light sour. I'm getting the licorice and chocolate along with apples, malt, toffee, and yeast.

Learninbeer (1141) - Sterling Heights, Michigan, USA - JAN 19, 2020UPDATED: JAN 19, 2020 The aroma is a little sweet, honey. Pours dark reddish brown with fully diminishing light tan head. The taste is a medium bittersweet. The body is medium, the texture creamy, the carbonation average. Very good beer, this 11 years old and still is holding up well.
