UPDATED: FEB 2, 2024 Bottled 2016, BBD 2026. Pours pitch black with light brown/beige head, medium to little carbonation. Nice nose on roasted malts. Medium mouthfeel, complex, bitter roasted malts, bitter coffee, dark chocolate, smoke, burnt toast. Very nice!

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2023 Bouteille en cave depuis 2017. Liquide noir avec mousse très courte et persistante. Nez café surpuissant et malts torréfiés. En bouche, c'est une attaque café cacao devançant une amertume torréfiée et douce grâce à l'avoine, excellent !!!

UPDATED: JUN 23, 2023 Batch 659, brewed 13.07.2011. Heavy on coffe, no real oxidation detected. Heald up very well in the bottle for all these years :)

UPDATED: MAY 6, 2023 Pours jet black with fluffy beige head. Full bouquet with roasted malts, mixed cereals, soft cold brew-like coffee scents and hints of red berries. Medium bodied palate with good complexity, roasty bitterness, well balanced sweetness and good finish.

UPDATED: APR 25, 2023 Poured from the tap. Very dark brown with small beige head. Ashy roast malt, quite bitter, round and dry, well made.

UPDATED: APR 13, 2023 Pours dark brown/black with nice light brown foam. Nose is splendid, chocolate, toffee, vanilla, light touch of coffee. Mouth is smooth, well balanced, complex, dominated by chocolate and coffee sensation sneaking in at the end. Great zipper!

UPDATED: MAR 20, 2023 Low tan head, black body. Nose: Coffee, dark chocolate, caramel, liquorice and roasted malts. Taste: Coffee, dark chocolate, liquorice, dates, caramel, roasted malts and grapefruit. Long, bitter ending.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2023 20 cl glass from draft @Copenhagen Airport. Pours pitch black with a small beige head with decent retention. Sweetish aroma, where the coffee is clearly present along with roasted malt. Taste surprisingly subdued as I was expecting more of a porter pow. Malt and coffee the predominant flavors with a certain sweetness most discernable when licking my lips. Aftertaste quite sustained...again malt, sweet fruit and coffee. Quite watery mouthfeel. Well balanced beer.
