Ein gutes Bier. Der Braumeister versteht sein Handwerk! Duftet nach Malz und hat einen guten süss/bitteren Nachgeschmack. Bestimmt empfehlenswert. Und da es unfiltriert ist kommen alle geschmäcke und duftnoten zur besseren entfaltung. Doppelt gut!

50cl last batch bottles bb02/2015 kindly recovered & dispensed by hawanna, vielen Dank! Golden cereal pour. Aroma of rich but dry golden biscuit, hay and fragrant dried grasses, some hedgerow herbalistics and caramel. Czech-style level of diacetyl, a biscuit well buttered, with a good Franconian, honest malt base and pleasant hop prickle. Probably even more luxurious sessioning in its prime. Shame about Popering hop sister city Wolznach, hurray for Urban Chestnut for saving the location!

Bottle 50cl traded with Quack-Duck thanks. An almost clear yellow beer with medium head. Nose is on grassy hops and sweet grain. Aroma is on the same hops notes, malty / grainy side is less important that the nose, not bad but light grainy / caramel / yeast notes as a usual kellerbier.

Many thanks for this bottle to Beerhunter111. Pours straw/yellow with a white head. Smells and tastes light and crisp with some lemony hints on the finish.

Bottle provided by Dedollewaitor, thanks buddy. Hazy golden body with a large frothy white head. Hops, fruity, citrus, some dust, yeast. So fresh and so delicious. One of the best germans i’ve ever had.

Bottle. Blonde. Bready floral aroma. Hay-like floral hopbitter flavor, lingering on in the aftertaste. Tasty brew.

UPDATED: JAN 31, 2013 (Tap) Bevuta al Deutsche Bierfest. Colore giallo paglierino poca schiuma. Aroma mielato con qualche traccia erbacea e di pane. Al palato ingresso pulito mediamente carbonata con sentori dolci di malto e del miele di castagno, subito equilibrati da un incredibile e pulito amaro finale. Una retrolfattivita di erbe perdura in tutta la bevuta. Ottima birra.
