Originally posted by TheAlum Yes. I work at Orchid Island Brewery in Vero Beach. Rep, marketing, bartender, waiter, helping out on brew days... whatever needs to be done. Decided to jump in on the ground floor. Not making a lot of money, but I’m hopeful that with my help and a quality product the brewery will grow, and my salary will grow with it. Right now, I don’t mind the money. Wendy earns quite a bit (thank God) and my contribution is more than enough. Although I’m always super-busy and working my butt off, I’m also having a lot of fun. Of note: I have discovered that working with part-time personnel can be very frustrating. I’ve never had to do it. You need them, but at the same time, you often want to kill them. ;-) Damn. I didn’t know Iowa State didn’t field a baseball team. Chintzy |
Good for you Scotch, I’ve considered it a few times. |

Did Florida (basketball) really just hire the Lousiana Tech coach |
Our baseball team shat itself. |
Is that 4* RB Washington going to be enough to unretire the famed #44 at Syracuse? He’s recruiting the hell out of other top recruits. God I hope we can at least get to a bowl and secure a top 30 class. NCAA Lacrosse tourney started yesterday, Cuse is the #2 seed. Also the lost trophy documentary plays this week on ESPN. Rumor has it that trophy is at my parents house in Western NY. |
