It’s fun. A solid watch.

And again, I’m under no delusions that Iowa is a super power. They’ve only been to the CWS once before and have a dismal recent history. But, I’m just bringing to light JJ’s post. It does seem the hiring of Iowa native Rick Heller (Upper Iowa, Indiana State) is paying dividends tho.. and an investment with all that B1G money.. furthermore neither other major state university fields a baseball team (Iowa State, Northern Iowa)

Should be fun seeing if they can make it twice.

Also.. you work for a brewery now?

Yes. I work at Orchid Island Brewery in Vero Beach. Rep, marketing, bartender, waiter, helping out on brew days... whatever needs to be done. Decided to jump in on the ground floor. Not making a lot of money, but I’m hopeful that with my help and a quality product the brewery will grow, and my salary will grow with it. Right now, I don’t mind the money. Wendy earns quite a bit (thank God) and my contribution is more than enough. Although I’m always super-busy and working my butt off, I’m also having a lot of fun.

Of note: I have discovered that working with part-time personnel can be very frustrating. I’ve never had to do it. You need them, but at the same time, you often want to kill them. ;-)

Damn. I didn’t know Iowa State didn’t field a baseball team. Chintzy

Is that 4* RB Washington going to be enough to unretire the famed #44 at Syracuse? He’s recruiting the hell out of other top recruits. God I hope we can at least get to a bowl and secure a top 30 class. NCAA Lacrosse tourney started yesterday, Cuse is the #2 seed. Also the lost trophy documentary plays this week on ESPN. Rumor has it that trophy is at my parents house in Western NY.

Mining Colorado State and La Tech for elite coaching talent. I can handle some gator mediocrity for a few years.

It’s funny because it’s Michigan. But seriously, some of those "violations" are just dumb. The NCAA is the worst.

No doubt.
Well, at least it took Rich Rod a full year to fracture a rule or two. Harbaugh is going right at it. Michigan football is sorta a joke right now. I like that.
