Man, I’m glad I’m not a UF fan. They are getting raped, and Muschamp just pushed a little deeper.
What a complete shit show in Gainesville.

Just when Michigan looks to have finally got their shit together by signing Harbaugh, Florida continues to be the most mismanaged program in the NCAA... well, unless you count USF who is currently paying for two coaches and likely to fire another after this year if he doesn’t do well... and he won’t.

By far the best combined class ever for usc and ucla, so thats pretty cool. Kids who play rb in Texas are finally realizing that UT is where backs go to die. Luckily I can always rely on at least two of usc’s five stars either getting arrested or being academically ineligible at some point. Need to read up on the final figures on ND. I really only care about Zaire though.

I was pleased with Syracuse’s class, we swiped Jake Pickard from Wisc and held on when Harbaugh came calling his number. Addressed the OL & DL needs, which should help over the next few years. We also stocked up on another 3 solid RBs, added a few quick DBs/one with me height. Throw in a JUCO TE and we should be able to get back to a bowl. First time since the 90s they have filled the class and not just settled for scraps on signing day. Also proved once again that the staff can evaluate talent early for example Chris Clark the UCLA TE commit was once committed to ’Cuse until the big schools started dropping offers on his door step. He is also a perfect example of how the star system is corrupt as he was barely a 3 star when committed for ’Cuse and then gets offers from OSU, Mich, Bama and UCLA. Next thing you know he’s a high 4 to almost 5. Plus we "self-imposed sanctions" our non-NCAA tournament bound B-Ball team with a top tier class about to come in.

I put zero stock in these rankings, but I admit it’s satisfying to see the #2 guy on ESPN’s 300 toss aside an Auburn pennant to raise a Mizzou one.

Finally. Some free time... Here are the NCAA Div. 1 men’s college basketball RPI rankings for teams of interest as of Tuesday, February 17th, 2015. Of note: Obviously, if your team wins its conference tournament at the end of the season, it receives an automatic invitation to the NCAA Tournament regardless of its RPI ranking or its ranking in the AP and Coaches polls. RPI ranking (strength of schedule ranking): #26 WVU (45) #51 Stanford (59) #55 Iowa (19) #61 Miami (56) #71 Syracuse (79) #76 Alabama (49) #79 Florida (8) #104 South Carolina (31) #120 Florida State (83) #136 Auburn (61) #173 Mississippi State (109) #189 Missouri (7) #218 UCF (117) #240 South Florida (67) Dog of the Week: #351 Grambling State (342) / Record: 0-21 #350 Central Arkansas (Scottie Pippen’s alma mater) is giving them a run for their money at 1-22. This is, by far, the suckiest year for our cumulative basketball teams. Missouri = #189?. Is it an unwritten rule that if you join the SEC, you have to start sucking as bad at basketball as the rest of the conference (except Kentucky)? Missouri is/was a perennial NCAA Tournament team. Not gonna be a lot of fun here come tournament time. *If you peruse this thread, but don’t participate on a regular basis, and would like to see your team listed here each week, simply post your request or shoot me a beermail. **I’ll update this list weekly as time allows**

By the way, in All-Sports Director’s Cup standings, UCF destroys Iowa , who is dead last in the Big 10, 114-25. Once baseball and softball seasons are done, we will kick dirt over that loser school’s lifeless body.
