Will land at 22 on the 19th, so less time for a warm up, but will be there for some before noon shenanigans.

Is there an "official"/discounted hotel arranged for Helsinki, by the way?

In Helsinki there is no special hotel arranged - but I think booking.com, airbnb etc would offer some options. Cheers!

So, will everyone be in the same hotels 20-23rd? Did I understand correctly that one of the organizers will book them if we say we want to make use of their arranged deal?

Some suggestions for Helsinki:
If you come in Sunday morning Linda Line is fastest and easiest ferry. 10.00 and 12.00 are IMO best times to leave Tallinn. Ticket costs 25e and it takes 1.40h to Helsinki.

Hotel Arthur is usually cheapest hotel in best location. It is just next to metro station, Kaisla, Black Door and Sori Taproom which all are open on Sunday. It just 1.2km walk from harbour where Linda Line leaves you. 80-90e per night now. EDIT: 76e room right now and with -10% coupon it is 69e with breakfast. Has to be cheapest offer.

If you are going to use lots of public transport I suggest buying "day ticket" from automat as soon as possible. It is 8.5e IIRC inside Helsinki region and when you have it you can use Metro, tram and local railways 24h.

Feel free to ask anything from concerning on Helsinki beer venues and city itself.

It is also possible to buy a roundtrip ticket for Helsinki ferry (~40€) and return to Tallinn on Sunday evening. So if someone has trouble finding cheap flight from Helsinki, it’s also worth checking flights leaving Tallinn.

Lindaline should also have group fares if there’s more than 10 of us.

It looks like the group ticket must be arranged in advance: http://en.lindaline.ee/times-and-prices/groups/
I only see seven people signed up on the calendar event for Helsinki, although 11 are signed up for Tallinn. So we might fall a bit short.

If we don’t do the group ticket, I would imagine we can just turn up and get tickets on that morning, yes? Or is it crowded enough in high season that we should reserve in advance?

There will be one more on all days of the trip.

Sunitha will come with me, but she isn’t that active on the site so hasn´t signed up. She will probably not be going on everything, but she will be in all four cities and travel with the rest.

What about beers to bring to the grand tasting?

Last time I went there was a list where everyone could add what they were going to bring, to avoid doubles and to get a decent mix. It was at least 3 bottles of 33 cl, 2 half liters or 1 75 cl bottle.
