But yes.. Sugar aint taking you with a 2nd Big 12 or Pac-12 team on the table. |
Originally posted by GodOfThunder First of all you were not an upgrade, you were top flight filler from Conf USA. The Big East could not sustain being a 5 football team league. The AAC has only 4 teams bowl eligible which hardly backs your depiction of being dominant in a tough league. Rutgers could still make a bowl because they will probably blow out USF which UCF couldn’t do. Louisville is your only statement victory, which was just another one of UCFs miracle comebacks. The ACC has 11 teams bowl eligible to include Pitt and Syracuse. WV sucks, but if they were back in AAC they would be another poor top tier AAC team. You didn’t even play Cinncy, which has been top tier Big East team over the past few years. Temple was thrown out of the Big East before being allowed to come back for good football behavior. The only reason that we are having this discussion (well really only your inflated head) is because the AAC somehow kept an AQC status in the current BCS. If they hadn’t your NIU style dreams would have been squashed with that lose. Next year UCF will not even sniff the new BCS tourney. Back to irrelevancy you can bank on that! |
SHIG with the JAM |
We’ve lost one game, by 3, to a Top 10 team. |

We could see an unranked team in a BCS bowl this year. wow |

Originally posted by GodOfThunder WVU is an embarrassment to me at the moment because of coaching, injuries, QB issues and a lack of scholarship personnel... all while playing a Top 25 team on National TV every weekend. In other words, WVU would have sorta sucked, but quietly placed 2nd or 3rd in the AAC this year. Apples vs Oranges |
