Inbreak (9950) - Loddefjord, NORWAY - JUL 27, 2017
03.05.2014, tap @ CBC:
Small brown creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is very mild and balanced, almost too balanced, sweet coffee liquor, mocha, vanilla, dark sugar, espresso, caramel. Taste is sweet roasted, chocolate milk, lactose, burnt coffee, burnt caramel, cereal, roasted grain, vanilla, grass, hay. Medium bitterness, very dry dusty mouthfeel. Fair enough, a little disappointing.

Tap at CBC 2014. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Malty smokey aroma. Starts heavy malty, smokey, notes of strong coffee, bitter background. Finish milder, malty-smokey. Nice!

Keg at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014, red session. 03/05/2014. Deep black, viscous pour with a lasting rich tan head. Aroma is really earthy coffee beans, vanilla, creamy caramel. Flavour is really dirty, earthy, rough coffee, light veg. Really dirty and rough, coffee beans. Dark harsh roast. Palate is full body, butty on the tongue. Overall this is way too raw.

CBC Session 3. Muddy looking dark brown beer, short lived dark tan head. Palate starts smooth but has a light crispness on the backend. Dry coffee and well buried burned malt. Whisper of malt cream. Dry finish. All round - quite mellow.
